When a work order is in a state that allows assignments, technicians can be assigned, but only workshop managers can do so.
Assignments allow you to identify who can perform the work order. There are two types of assignments:
- Automatic: defined in the work order type, in Settings | Work | Work Order Types;
- Manual: performed directly in the work order, using the Assign option.
