How to assign technicians to the work order?

When a work order is in a state that allows it, you can assign technicians. Only managers of the Workshop can assign a WO to technicians.

To assign technicians on the WO, you must access the work order you wish to assign in Work | Work Orders and select the desired WO.

1. On the work order screen, on the link "Operations" select the option "Assignment";
2. The list of technicians assigned to the WO will be displayed;
3. Select the option "Create".

There are 4 categories for assigning technicians to the work order:

1. Work order assignment - the technician will have all tasks from all work order plans assigned, as well as all additional tasks.
2. Work order maintenance plan assignment - the technician will have all tasks from the maintenance plan assigned.
3. Maintenance plan task assignment - the technician will have the specific task from the specific maintenance plan assigned.
4. Additional task assignment - the technician will have the specific additional task assigned.

When assigning technicians to work orders, you must consider the following rules:

1. You can only record the assignment if the work order is in the state Allows Assignments;
2. Only technicians associated to the work order workshop can be assigned;

When the Work Order type has an automatic assignment to the Workshop technicians, it follows this criteria:

1. If the company has no access restrictions, assign to all workshop technicians;
2. If the company has access restrictions, assign only to workshops technicians with company access;
3. Employees unmapped for user will always be assigned, even when the company has access restrictions;
4. In the automatic assignment, the work order created should only be assigned if that user is a workshop technician.
