How to define the salesperson commission?

The salespersons commissions can be set up in the commissions grid, and it is possible to determine exceptions to the calculation of salespersons commissions.

Set up the calculation of the salesperson commission

In this table, the exceptions to the calculation of the salesperson commissions are defined. If there is no rule created in this commissions grid, the suggestion of the commission to be paid to the salesperson is the one defined on the corresponding file. For example, it is possible to create different commissions by item and salesperson, by item and salesperson family, in a promotional period, among others.

To set up the calculation of the salesperson commission, follow these steps:

  1. Access Marketing & Sales | Salespersons | Commissions | Commissions Grids;
  2. Define the type of rule to apply in Commissions Type;
  3. Select the item, family, among other data on which the commission will be applied;
  4. Specify the rule expiration. If no expiration is defined, the rule is always applied;
  5. Insert the commission Value, fixed or by brackets;
  6. Finally, click Save.

Set up salesperson commission

To set up salesperson commission, follow these steps:

  1. Access Marketing & Sales | Salespersons | Salespersons;
  2. Create or edit a salesperson;
  3. Specify the Commission as a Percentage, that will be applied to the obtained results for the calculation of the salesperson commissions;
  4. Define how the salesperson will receive commissions on sales made by other salespersons;
  5. Insert on the correct fields, how is the calculation of commissions payable is to be performed;
  6. Finally, click Save.
