How to set up the credit limit management in a document?

The credit limit management, when correctly parameterized, is used to control the entities' current account when issuing purchase and sales documents. This way, only the documents that are parameterized are considered when managing the credit/debit limit for an entity.

To activate the credit limit management, follow these steps:

  1. Access [Marketing & Sales / Purchases ] | [Sales / Purchases] | Resources | Tables | [Sales Document / Purchase Document];
  2. Specify the document Identifier and Description;
  3. Select the option Credit Limit Management;
  4. Click Save;
  5. Define the credit limit associated to the entity;
  6. In the Administrator, define the credit limit and, if that limit is exceeded, the desired action: Ignore, Warn or Block.

The credit limit is only controlled in documents that don't perform the automatic settlement.
