How to install Fiscal Reporting?
Installing Fiscal Reporting is quick and easy; all you need to do is make a few simple settings. However, we strongly recommend that you review the software and hardware requirements before beginning the installation. You can then log in, change passwords, and back up your data. The following hardware and software requirements must be met in order to run Fiscal Reporting: Software Requirements: The operating system versions on which PFR can run must support the.NET 4.0. Framework. For more information, please refer to the support article. Minimum Hardware Requirements: The installation of the Fiscal Reporting product follows the same procedure as for ERP modules, that is, through a setup process. To install PFR, follow these steps: For more information on the PFR installation process, please refer to the Product Installation Manual available under Start | Information on New Versions | Installation. User authentication in PFR is performed by entering a login and password. The login can be created by the Administrator or imported from the ERP system, provided that companies and users have been imported. To log in to the application, follow these steps: The system allows you to choose between the traditional authentication service (using a specific login and password) and the hybrid service (Windows authentication and/or traditional authentication service). Although you don't need to enter your password when Windows login is active, you still need to confirm your login. For centralized password management, changes to this security mechanism are made in the ERP system for users who have the ERP User option enabled. Please note that the password used to access PFR is the same as the one used for the ERP system. You should only change the password in PFR if this option is not available in the ERP. For users who are not an ERP User, the password associated with their login can be easily changed in Fiscal Reporting. To change your password, follow these steps: If three failed login attempts are made, that login will be disabled and can only be reactivated by an Administrator in Administrator | Users. If you use the ERP User option to ensure user mapping between Fiscal Reporting and the ERP, you only need to manage this user's password in the ERP. When PFR is used together with the ERP, you can take advantage of a range of features offered by the Platform, including: To access these features, go to Other Databases in the Administrator and select the PFR database. You can also configure the properties of this module by going to Applications | Fiscal Reporting. Although there is a reference to Fiscal Reporting in user permissions and profiles, these options have no impact on the product itself. PFR uses XSLT transformations powered by the Altova engine in the processes for importing and generating magnetic files. This component is included because the .NET XSLT transformation engines only support version 1.0 of XSLT, whereas this component supports version 2.0, which offers better performance. Therefore, if PFR does not detect the component installed, it will display an error message when attempting to import or generate a magnetic file. The PFR setup freely distributes Altova XML 2009 (an XSLT 2.0 transformation engine). It installs silently and includes its own setup file (distributed in the <installation_folder>\PRIMAVERA\PFR100\Apl folder, “AltovaXML2009.exe”) for possible reinstallation. Another option is to copy the DLL Altova.AltovaXML.dll from the C:\Program Files (x86)\Altova\AltovaXML2012 folder to the C:\Program Files (x86)\PRIMAVERA\PFR800\Apl folder. To avoid issues with generating magnetic files, the PFR platform includes the option to generate magnetic files using Saxon (for Java) via the command line. This means there are two ways to generate magnetic files:Requirements
