There are two types of assignments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Automatic<\/strong>: defined in the work order type, in <strong>Settings | Work | Work Order Types<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Manual<\/strong>: performed directly in the work order, using the <strong>Assign<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock  '   itemprop=\"text\" ><h2>Assign technicians<\/h2>\n<p>To assign technicians to a work order, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Access <strong>Work | Work Orders<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Select the desired <strong>work order<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Operations<\/strong> and then on <strong>Assignment<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Create<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>technician<\/strong> to assign and the <strong>type of assignment<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Assignment to the work order<\/strong>: the technician is assigned <strong>all tasks from all WO plans<\/strong>, as well as all <strong>additional tasks<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>To the WO maintenance plan<\/strong>: the technician is assigned to <strong>all tasks in the maintenance plan<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>To the maintenance plan task<\/strong>: the technician is assigned to a <strong>specific task in the maintenance plan<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>To the additional task<\/strong>: the technician is assigned to <strong>a specific additional task<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock  '   itemprop=\"text\" ><h2>Assignment rules<\/h2>\n<p>When assigning technicians to work orders, the following rules must be observed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The assignment can only be registered if the work order is in the <strong>Allow Assignments<\/strong> status;<\/li>\n<li>Only <strong>technicians<\/strong> can be assigned to work orders;<\/li>\n<li>Only <strong>technicians<\/strong> <strong>associated with the work order workshop<\/strong> can be assigned;<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>workshop manager<\/strong> must also be a <strong>workshop technician<\/strong> to be assigned to a work order;<\/li>\n<li>When the work order type has automatic assignment of workshop technicians, the following criteria apply:\n<ul>\n<li>If the company <strong>has no access restrictions<\/strong>, assign to <strong>all<\/strong> workshop technicians;<\/li>\n<li>If the company <strong>has access restrictions<\/strong>, assign <strong>only to workshop technicians with access to the company<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>Employees who are <strong>not mapped to a user are always assigned<\/strong>, even if there are access restrictions;<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>creator of the work order<\/strong> is only <strong>assigned automatically<\/strong> if they are a <strong>technician at the workshop<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div
