How do I register a change of Parent Device on the devices?

To register a change of parent device on a device, follow these steps:
  1. Go to Assets | Devices;
  2. Select the device for which you want to register the change of Parent Device;
  3. Click on the button Operations and then, on Change Parent Device;
  4. The list of changes to the selected device is displayed;
  5. Click on Create;
  6. Fill in the necessary fields;
  7. Click on Save and confirm the message displayed;
After saving, the device's Parent Device will automatically be changed.
If you make a new change of the Parent Device, the end date of the last change record to the Parent Device will be updated. The end date will be filled in with the start date of the new Parent Device.
