The meters can be loaded through individual records, in batch or by importing .csv files.

Meter values can be introduced in two ways:

  • Value Increase: Difference between the current reading and the previous reading. It is used in Increment-type meters and allows you to enter the zero value;
  • Meter Reading: current meter reading. It is used in Read-type meters.
The following rules must be observed when entering meter values:
  1. The inserted value in the Increment Value or in the Meter Reading can never be superior than the Maximum Value introduced on the meter;
  2. The meter reading will automatically restart when the maximum value is reached;
  3. You cannot record readings for the same meter and asset with the same second;
  4. When a meter value is deleted, all values for the same meter with a greater date will be updated to ensure conformity. The cumulative reading and the average will be recalculated.

To insert a new meter reading, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Assets | Measurements | Meters or Monitorings;
  2. Click on the Operations button to access the meter values list;
  3. On the meter values page, click on Create;
  4. Fill in the meter value data;
  5. Click on Save and New.
