The monitorings are system entities which allow for monitoring the normal operation of the assets by monitoring a preset value and, depending on its positive or negative variation, trigger corrective maintenance actions. To create a new monitoring, select the option Assets | Meters and Monitorings | Meters: on the list, press the button "create".
When creating the monitoring, you must associate it to one of the following elements:
  1. Location function - when creating a monitoring to a location function, this means that when recording meter values, the user must select a location with this location function associated.
  2. Family - when creating a monitoring to a family, this means that when recording monitoring values, the user must select an equipment or tool with this family associated.
  3. Brand - when creating a monitoring to a brand, this means that when recording monitoring values, the user must select an equipment or tool with this brand associated.
  4. Brand and Model - when creating a monitoring to a brand or model, this means that when recording monitoring values, the user must select an equipment or tool with this brand or model associated.
  5. Localization - when creating a monitoring to a location, this means that when recording monitoring values, the user can only do it for the monitoring location.
  6. Equipment - when creating a monitoring to an equipment, this means that when recording monitoring values, the user can only do it for the monitoring equipment.
  7. Tool - when creating a monitoring to a tool, this means that when recording monitoring values, the user can only do it for the monitoring tool.
If the fields Action and Warning are filled in, they must obey the following order (Superior action > Superior warning > Inferior Warning > Inferior Action):
  1. The field superior action must be higher than the superior Warning
  2. The field superior warning must be higher than the field inferior warning
  3. The field inferior warning must be higher than the field inferior action
The field Action Trigger Events defines the consecutive number of values necessary to trigger an action.
The field Window indicates the number of monitoring records that will be used to calculate the average.
Fill in the monitoring data. The information to be filled in is organized in tabs. You can see the required fields using the orange margin or from the list on the right lower corner, next to the Reset button;
