To correct the correct e-Gar communication, you must configure a set of important elements, for example, the series, the operation code, the entities to intervene on the communication process and the waste items being communicated.

Configure document series

To specify that a series in a document communicates or not with e-GAR, when creating or editing the series, you must define the type of e-GAR communication.

To configure document series for communication (or not) with the e-GAR, follow these steps:

  1. Access the document in [Marketing & Sales / Purchases] | [Sales / Purchases] | Resources | Tables | [Sales Document / Purchase Document];
  2. Select the document you wish to change or create a new document (if the document is of the type stock/trans);
  3. On the tab Series, on the field Communicates e-GAR select the desired option: Communicates or Does not Communicate;
  4. Click Save.

The system will respect the defined configuration.

Configure items

The generation of the waste tracking document communication is triggered by the inclusion of items configured as waste and with a non-exempt ELW code.

To configure an item for communication, follow these steps:

  1. Access Marketing & Sales or Purchases | Inventory | Item;
  2. Select the desired item;
  3. On the tab General, activate the option Waste Treatment;
  4. On the tab Waste, fill in the data regarding the non-exempt ELW Code and Waste Group;
  5. If the waste is a dangerous material, fill in the fields ONU Number and Packaging Group;
  6. Finally, click Save.

Configure entities

The waste shipping documents communication can be performed by the waste producer in a sale or by the waste management operator in a purchase (representing the waste producer).

If you are a producer, it is necessary to endure that the entity to which you will deliver the waste is created on the system as a customer. If you are a waste management operator, you must ensure that the producing entity is created on the system as a supplier.

This way, you might have to record the document in the sales or in the purchases according to the type of paper.

To correctly configure an entity, follow these steps:

  1. Access Marketing & Sales/ Purchases | [Sales / Purchases] | [Clients / Suppliers];
  2. Select the desired entity;
  3. On the tab Other Data, fill in the data regarding the e-GAR communication, for example:
    APA Code;
    PGL Number (Mud Waste Management Plan);
    Producer Type: OGR (Waste Management Operator) or PI (Initial Producer);
    Exempt: In the case of an entity for which the communication is exempt;
  4. Click Save.

Configure operation code

The operation codes are defined at the level of the operation types.

To set up the operation code, follow these steps:

  1. Access [...] General Resources Tables | Business Transaction | Operation Types;
  2. Select or create a new type of operation;
  3. On the tab Waste, define the operation code;
  4. Click Save.

When creating the documents, you must ensure that the operation type is correctly defined.
