Access (Workspace)
Cegid Workspace is designed to centralize access management to the applications you have in your workspace. You must have manager permissions to start using this application. To support access management, the Cegid Workspace interface has been designed to provide an easy usability and a natural, fluid user experience: If you click on the selector, it expands and shows the different workspaces in which you’re authorized to manage access, and you can switch between them. The selector also features a search box for quickly locating the workspace, as well as the possibility of highlighting workspaces by bringing them to the top of the list. The Resource Explorer provides efficient hierarchical navigation for exploring the workspace (organizations, applications, and companies). This feature is structured in a tree shape so that you can navigate to the level you want to manage access to. It's important to highlight that you can change the names of the workspace, organization and applications to give them more identifiable names. You can also search by the name of the resource. This comprehensive and flexible search makes the use of the explorer more practical and effective in the resource hierarchy. This area shows detailed information about the users with access to the resource selected in the Explorer, i.e. if you select the Cegid Fiscal Reporting application, you will see all the users with access to the companies that exist in Fiscal Reporting. If you only select a particular company, only users with access to that company will be displayed. With this list, you can clearly and neatly see the users with access, including relevant information such as their name and profile. With the filters available, you can consult accesses based on different criteria, such as: To make access management easier, you can add or remove permissions directly in the list. Before using this list, you must select the resource in the Explorer. Cada usuario tiene un acceso específico en Cegid Workspace, que es totalmente independiente de los perfiles de las aplicaciones: In the specific case of applications and companies, you can also assign the profiles that users can adopt in Cegid Fiscal Reporting. While permissions are the operations you can do in the workspace (manager or reader), profiles are the functions you take on in Cegid Fiscal Reporting. For example, the Manager permission in the workspace and the Contributer profile in Cegid Fiscal Reporting. With this application, you can hierarchically manage user permissions and profiles in organizations, applications, and companies. This approach allows you to assign permissions and profiles individually (for each resource), as well as all at once for all the resources displayed in Explorer. For example, in Cegid Fiscal Reporting you work with 3 companies. If you assign access to the Cegid Fiscal Reporting application, this access covers all 3 companies as well as any company you create in the future. If you only give access to one company, the user will not have access to the other companies or to any company you create in the meantime. This way, removing access to a subscription is totally flexible, i.e. you can remove access to certain levels of the hierarchy (to the organization, application or company) to precisely control the permissions granted. This ability to adjust access contributes to an adaptable and personalized application access management. To manage access, please, follow these steps: With Manager permission, you can assign new access to other users for that very resource.
